In series two – edition thirteen of our Faces of Liverpool series we caught up with Daniel Callaghan, aged 31 from Liverpool; a Digital Artist and Manager.
What do you love about Liverpool?
The people mostly. There’s a warmth you get when you come here. We’ll take the piss out of you within 30 seconds of meeting you no matter who you are. It’s a playful baptism of fire, a reminder that we’re equals here. The most excepting City in the world for me. When we ask if you’re ok we actually mean it. You don’t get that in many other places.
Name one main thing about living in Liverpool that makes you proud?
The achievements we have globally in sports and music. Everyone knows Liverpool for the greatness we brought and continue to bring to the world. The way we made people feel. I’m proud to say I’m a scouser to people who aren’t!
If you could describe Liverpool in 3 words what would they be?
Bold, Unique, Boss.
Name one place in Liverpool that holds a special place in your heart?
The Kop.
Is there anything on your ‘Bucket List’ to do in Liverpool that your still yet to achieve?
Create a wall mural somewhere in the city!
Do you have any tales of Liverpool or claim to fame while in the city?
Claim to fame? I spoke 4 words on Hollyoaks once if that counts haha.
