SERIES ONE – EDITION TWO
In the second edition in our Faces of Liverpool series we caught up with Emily Rush, aged 26 from Rainhill.
What do you love about Liverpool?
I love how friendly everyone is, how there is so much history and culture across the city and how small of a world it is as someone ALWAYS knows someone you know. 😂
Name one main thing about living in Liverpool that makes you proud?
I’m really proud that we do all try and look out for one another. There are so many wonderful charities across the city that always go above and beyond to help those less fortunate. 🥰
If you could describe Liverpool in 3 words what would they be?
Historic, welcoming & friendly
Name one place in Liverpool that holds a special place in your heart?
I absolutely love the Albert Dock and it’s also where my mum and dad met too!
Is there anything on your ‘Bucket List’ to do in Liverpool that your still yet to achieve?
To go up the Radio City Tower.
Do you have any tales of Liverpool or claim to fame while in the city?
Last year the charity I volunteer for, the Paper Cup Project were nominated for an Liverpool Echo Award. On the night I remember feeling so unbelievably star struck after seeing the real “Jim Royle” in person who was also celebrating his 80th birthday! It was a great night and a fantastic way to highlight all the wonderful people in our city. ❤️
