LightNight at Home 2020

May normally marks the month of one of the city’s most spectacular arts festival – LightNight, but due to the coronavirus pandemic sadly the event along with others has been cancelled.

With the event no longer taken place across various arts and heritage spaces in Liverpool, the team have now organised LightNight at Home.

LightNight at Home will see the events festival partners share their best digital content, giving people the opportunity to celebrate and spotlight some of the artists and venues that would have brought everyone together.

Artists and venues will be using the hashtag #LightNightatHome on Friday 15th May from 5.00pm.

LightNight is a free one-night culture masterpiece that takes place each year, the evening consists of workshops, exhibitions, music, theatre, dance and installations. This year’s festival theme was quiet suitably called ‘Home’ wanting to explore what home means to everyone.

The event is renowned for its late openings and unique events spread across 50 different arts and heritage spaces.
