Llangollen is a small town in Denbighshire, Wales and is renowned for spectacular scenery with something for every visitor.
Boss for a little weekend away for either couples or groups. The lodge we stayed in was perfect for our group but they’ve also got ones that sleep 4.
Complex was full of ponds, lakes and streams, so it’s very chilled. About a 5 minute drive from Llangollen centre. We paid £514 in total.
We rented a canal boat at Llangollen Wharf Boat Trips, LL20 8TA. It cost us £195 in total and you get it for around 7 hours. You can hire a driver but recommend you give it a go yourself.
Hard to get your head round at first but it’s not too hard and we had a laugh trying to learn. Little pub stops on the way for a pub crawl and some of the views are boss! (Especially when you get to the bridge) If you don’t fancy the Canal Boat then it would also be a nice little walk along the canal.
For food we went to the Corn Mill which is right next to the river. Food was lovely and there’s an out door area which would be boss for the summer.
