Located beneath the American-inspired restaurant Slim’s on Bold street, Pepper Cat Sports is the exciting new concept from the team behind  Salt Dog Slim’s and more of Liverpool’s best hangouts.

New Liverpool’s sports bar Pepper Cat Sports has opened up for highly anticipated events including the Champion’s League Final and all televised Premier League games, this year’s EUROS, as well as UFC fights, major golf, NFL, NBA, racing, rugby and even primetime Box Office events such as the long awaited Joshua V Fury boxing match.

Pepper Cat Sports is also available for private hire from 21st June, restrictions permitting, with a capacity of 60 and can be booked Monday – Sunday (When there are no major sporting events). This option is perfect for sports fans who want to watch a game, match or fight together as a larger group with guaranteed seats.

Pepper Cat Sports is home to 14 flatscreen, LED TVs with multiple feeds so everyone can get the best view of more than one game at the same time.

The sports bar offers an American-themed menu with PCS chicken wings taking centre stage. The venue has an incredibly popular £10 Wings Wednesday deal, allowing guests to chow down on unlimited wings including Salt & Pepper, Buffalo hot sauce and BBQ glaze whilst they watch the match. There’s also buffalo cauli wings for vegans and vegetarians.

There is also Salt & Pepper ribs, BBQ corn ribs, Peppercats Double Cheeseburger, Peppercats Cornflake Chicken Burger, Peppercats Vegan Burger, Korean Hot Dog, Slim’s famous Lo Pan Fries with fried Sui Mai, curry sauce char sui and salt and pepper seasoning, all available to order.

The bar is currently open for selected sporting events only with bookings essential as seats are limited and in high demand. Some events are also ticketed.

Pepper Cat Sports is already sold out for the Champion’s League Final but other events that are available to book now include:

International/EUROS games:

  • England v Croatia 13/6/21 @ 3pm
  • France v Germany 15/6/21 @ 9pm
  • England v Scotland 18/6/21 @ 9pm
  • Portugal v Germany 19/6/21 @ 6pm
  • Czech Republic v England 22/6/21 @ 9pm
  • Portugal v France 23/6/21 @ 9pm

The sports bar will also be releasing dates for America’s NFL and NBA games.

Jake Manning, General Manager at Pepper Cat Sports, said:

“We’re delighted to have reopened and to be hosting some of the biggest sporting events in the calendar. From football to boxing, UFC, to NFL and NBA, we’ll be covering a wide range of matches, games and fights.

“We do have limited tables available but these are in high demand and so we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.”

Nick Thomas, Director of Pepper Cat Sports, added:

“We want all of our guests to feel like they are home from home in the bar, and we want them to interact and play a major part in the atmosphere, and even the decor! From beer pong to darts tournaments, to donating memorabilia for our walls in return for a drink on us, we want it to be as much yours as it is ours.

“We’re looking forward to a summer of no restrictions and some great sporting events.”

Bookings can be made via Instagram @peppercatsports.
