Ma Boyle’s Alehouse and Eatery announce dates for Jazz Saturdays

The next run of Jazz Saturday sessions at the intimate and historic hideaway are proudly announced by Ma Boyle’s Alehouse and Eatery and Parrjazz.

May in Liverpool will be a huge month for music as Eurovision kicks off. Scintillating jazz sounds will radiate from the Tower Gardens venue in the build up from Saturday 15th April to the grandest of all music celebrations, taking a break on Saturday May 13th for the grand final.

Dates then resume until May 27th. Special guests include Rob Stringer, Blink Monk and Cuba Vida and as always, all shows are free to attend and booking ahead is recommended.

As the city’s longest running jazz weekly, Jazz Saturdays has already introduced some of the region’s finest performers and special guests from further afield. Ma Boyle’s and Parr Jazz continue to focus on a truly kaleidoscopic range of sounds, infused with and inspired by the magic of New Orleans and Brazilian beats to the simmering back streets of Paris.

Ma Boyle’s founder Iain Hoskins says:

“The next few weeks as we build up to Eurovision are going to be incredible and at Jazz Saturdays we’re continuing to showcase the innovators, stars and collectives from the scene. Jazz works so well in Ma Boyle’s – it’s a celebration of the vibrancy and magic the music creates. We’re very excited for the next run of dates coming up.”
