With the love of gin becoming a massive trend in Liverpool, all you connoisseurs are on a quest to find the best quality gin the city can provide. Bringing a brand-new gin to the North West is Lyndsey Murphy – one of the owners of Murphy’s Gin.
Starting out on a new adventure and throwing themselves into the social spotlight, the team pride themselves in being a family business and a craft distillery in Liverpool.
The philosophy of the brand is pretty simple; every batch is carefully prepared by hand using traditional distillation methods to achieve a superior gin.
Also doing their bit for the environment, their glass bottles are recyclable, and the corks and paper labels are also sourced from suppliers with sustainability & ethical credentials.
So, where did the history begin with Murphy’s Gin? Like many Liverpool natives, their ancestors can be traced back to Ireland. In 1889 William Murphy, a young mariner, departed Wexford harbour, bound for Liverpool with dreams of a better life.
Fast forward 130 years and four generations later; now three Murphy brothers are now on a different journey. In being the proud owners of an artisanal, small batch distillery.
Just when you though the brand couldn’t be any more perfect, unlike many flavoured gins, Murphy’s Gin never add sugar to their recipes, why is this so great you ask? Well the gins only contain 50 calories!
Offering three delightful flavours, consumers have the option to try out the original London Dry, Orange and Passionfruit and Pomegranate and Kaffir Lime.
