When great minds think alike, that’s when the magic happens, and nothing could be more magical than when two Liverpool based hospitality workers made dreams a reality.
Maya and Mark, whom both have worked in the hospitality industry with almost two decades of experience between them, put a plan together to start up a small events and catering company.
The business, which was to be located in a food trailer, seen plans of their launch party booked the second week of April, come to a halt with the hit of COVID-19.
With dreams slowly turning into nightmares and a business model long worked for being put on the back burner, the duo decided to put their heads together to come up with a plan B to adjust to unprecedented times.
This led them to their current venture, Alfalfa Pasta. Setting up a home delivery service from their own kitchen, Alfalfa Pasta offers fresh pasta, grilled cheeses and sides. Everything that comes from the kitchen is made 100% from scratch.
Maya & Mark said:
“We wanted to make everything affordable, but this meant keeping off popular delivery platforms due to the heavy percentage that they take from small businesses.
We took on a fellow out of work bartender to do our deliveries and have now been running for a little over a week.
The support we have been given so far has been nothing short of incredible and everyone that has shared, liked, commented, ordered, reviewed and everything in between means more to us than we can express”.
Alfalfa Pasta offer a delivery service, opening hours Wednesday-Sunday 12.00pm-3.00pm/ 5.00pm-10.00pm, with orders available via online Instagram or by telephone 07597 727049.
The team deliver to L1, L2, L8, L15, L17 with a also a collection point located in L8.
