Tonight Josephine, Liverpool’s sassiest venue, is celebrating the final Bank Holiday of the year with a weekend of exciting events, happy hour and bottomless brunch!

Home to the best drag brunches in the city, Tonight Josephine will welcome guests for a Now That’s What I Call Brunch the UK’s hottest pop brunch, with hits from the 80’s to the naughties, on Friday 25th August from 6-8pm.

Guests will enjoy Spritz cocktails, bubbles, beer and a brunch dish of their choice.

Brunch dishes to choose from include Chipotle and Honey Pulled Pork Burger served in a brioche bun with minted coconut yogurt, coleslaw rocket and pickle, Roast Chicken Skewer Caesar Salad topped with garlic and herb croutons, shaved parmesan and served with skinny fries, Chargrilled Halloumi Burger (vegan option available) layered with sweet potato, roasted peppers, chilli, rocket and mint, smashed avocado and lime aioli, or Slow Cooked Smoky Redefine ‘Beef’ Chilli (vegan) served with lemon and herb rice, guacamole, pico de Gallo and soured cream.

The venue’s renowned bottomless brunch will be followed by the must-see Barbie party from 8-11pm complete with the transformation of the coolest loos in Liverpool with Tonight Josephine adding Barbie and Ken mugshots to their infamous toilets to mark the event. 

Everyone attending the Barbie party is also encouraged to go all out in plastic fantastic Barbie fancy dress, with the best dressed winning a £150 bar tab to spend at the venue. 

There is also a life sized Barbie box so guests can step inside for their very own Barbie-themed photos. 

Tickets are £10 per person with everyone receiving a limited edition bubblegum flavoured Barbiecore Cocktail made up of Au Vodka bubblegum, blue curaçao, monin cherry blossom, prosecco, lemon and soda.

Tonight Josephine, which is renowned for its hot pink interior and tongue-in-cheek slogans, will also have a Happy Hour on available from 5-9pm on Friday 25th August and all day Sunday 27th August where partygoers can enjoy 2 for £12 on selected cocktails, a bottle of Prosecco for £20, bottle of wine for £15, spirit and mixer for £4 and bottled beer is two for £6.

On Bank Holiday itself, the bar will welcome guests for their popular Mamma Mia brunch at 12-2pm and 3-5pm which serves as the perfect backdrop to everyone’s favourite ABBA tunes!

This brunch will see guests entertained, serenaded and left amazed with performances by stars as seen in London’s Mamma Mia the Musical, and not only that, but guests will also have the chance to go head-to-head in an epic sing-along battle where the winner will most likely take it all!
