Happy 3rd Birthday!! Independent commercial radio station Zest is celebrating its third year on the airwaves.
From Liverpool for the North West on DAB radio and online, the station offers a positive uplifting sound and is home to ‘Liverpool’s Dance Weekend’- showcasing the very best in dance music from Liverpool’s famous nightclub scene both past and present.
A spokesperson at the station said:
“Today [17 April] marks a very special time for Zest. We are entering our fourth year of broadcast and celebrating another year of local output.”
“We believe in giving our listeners a local voice that can relate to things happening in our city.
“We are the only mainstream music station in the city who can proudly say that.
“We’d like to thank our listeners and commercial partners for their continued support and we really appreciate the work they do in order for us to provide a regional media option.”
Zest recently announced aid for local organisations and community groups across the North West who are offering practical help during the current COVID pandemic.
“By working together and supporting each other we can all eventually emerge from the crisis in due course,” Zest said.
