For the first time ever, there will be an outdoor skate rink within the magical ruins of the Bombed Out Church.

Get into the holiday spirit in the heart of the city centre and skate from November 30th to December 3rd. Everyone is invited. Bring your loved ones and reserve your spot for a winter ice adventure.

Before you hit the ice, there will be a festive pop-up bar and music set up within the Bombed Out Church for you to enjoy. Mulled wine, Bailey’s hot chocolate, prosecco, or beer, as well as a variety of other hot and cold drinks, are available.

Slots are 1 hour 15 minutes long, and include 45 minutes on the ice, as well as time to complete a waiver and exchange shoes for skates!

Two skate aids and one fun chair will be available. These are made available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Skate hire is included in the ticket price and range from 7 infants to adults in size 12. It is not permitted to bring your own skates.

On the ice, children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult (over the age of 18). Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult spectator.

Spectators will be able to see the rink and the skaters from a slightly elevated area, and there will be some seating available. Spectating is free; please reserve your spot in advance. Please email hello@slboc.com in advance if you have any accessibility needs.

You can book your tickets here.
